Armour Shield did a great job on our home in Ilderton. Professional, efficient, and clean. They made repairs to my roof where required as they reshingled. Quote was fair and Rodney and Assaad were great to deal with. We were given addresses of previous jobs to look at colours for the Landmark Pro shingles. This helped us make our colour choice. We were really happy with our choice as a result. Assaad inspected everything with us and came back a second time to use the magnetic rake again to ensure that no nails were left behind. Very pleased with their work.
Every person I spoke with was beyond professional. The work was done exceptionally well. To top it all off the costs were quite reasonable. I'd even go as far as to say they were more than fair.I do have one complaint though. Because they did such a good job, I won't have a reason to chat with them again for a long while.
The entire experience with Armour Shield Roofing was professional from the start. I saw their sign on a lawn at a home down the street from me. I talked to Rodney Bldik at the site. He actually took the time to stop to walk up the street to my home and gave me a quick evaluation of my roof. It's been 20 years and is showing wear. We booked an appointment from there to get a complete estimate to replace my roof along with styles and types of shingles which I chose, Certainteed Landmark Pro Shingle in the estimate which comes with a great guarantee from the manufacturer. Armour Shield has replaced a few roofs in my neighbourhood. They delivered as promised. Their pricing was not the lowest nor the highest, I try to get the best value for the hard earned dollar. They cleaned up after every day of working on my roof as if they had completed the job. They had lots of protection on and around my flower beds with plywood against the home windows to protect everything. The 8 man crew were very friendly and worked at a steady pace, not rushing doing quality workmanship as opposed to rushing and having to come back and fix things. My experiences with Assaad (General Manager), Rodney (Operations Management), Peter & Rob (site managers) were all top notch…. By that, I mean prompt, courteous, answered every question, and (honestly) nice about it through the entire process. They took their time being meticulous, paying attention to every detail. They even came back after a torrential rainstorm days later and cleaned all my eavestroughs from the fine grit that was washed into them. Two thumbs up Armour Shield.

Armour Shield Roofing completed replacing the shingles on my house and detached garage recently. I researched each company that I got a quote from (5 in total), and saw the slew of 5-star reviews this company had, wondering how the company manages to keep so many clients happy. But I wonder no more. Everything from the initial meeting with Assaad, the owner, to the communication with their office over the phone, to the job itself was as professional, pleasant, and hassle-free as it gets. This is clearly a company which is ran on a mantra of superb customer satisfaction from beginning to end, and it shows. Assaad patiently provided me with all the details and answered all my questions before I agreed to the job. The crew, who worked efficiently and finished the job in one day, were professional and courteous, and did a fantastic job cleaning up around the house at the end of the workday. Most importantly, my new roof looks fantastic. I have a weather vain on my garage, and I told Assaad I’d like to keep it, but I wanted to sand and paint it since it was showing its age a bit. He asked his guys to take it down for me in the morning, which allowed me to clean it up and paint it, and gave me plenty of time for the paint to dry before they expertly affixed it back on top of the garage at the end of the workday. It was a small detail, but these things matter. I wasn’t looking for the absolute cheapest roof job, and Armour Shield offered a very competitive price which seemed like the best choice for my roof replacement. If you are a bit anxious about making sure you select a good company for such a big project for your home, Armour Shield is absolutely the company you need to choose. Assaad said to call if there are any issues, and they’ll take care of it immediately. I actually don’t anticipate that any issues will arise, but I have zero doubts that he will honour his word to me should anything come up in the future. Armour Shield is one of the most professionally-ran trade companies I have ever dealt with, and I can’t imagine you will be disappointed in any aspect of your experience with them. An absolute gem of a company, and the choice to go with them for your roofing needs will ensure you sleep soundly at night afterwards.
